Notes
  • Lift height by year: 2020 Super Duties sit 1" lower from the factory than 2017-19, and the Tremor Package is a factory 2" lift on the 20-22 platform (1" taller than 17-19). Because all three start at different heights but use the same lift, the stated lift height differs by year — but all trucks measure the same once the lift is installed.
  • Front sway bar (choose one): a Sway Bar Drop Bracket + Carli Extended Sway Bar End Link combination, or — for the best ride quality — the full-replacement Torsion Sway Bar, which lightens the factory sway bar rate for a more compliant feel and increased articulation with only slightly more body roll.
  • Rear spring (F-250 vs F-350 differ): Choose a Full Progressive Spring Pack (reduces capacity to a "light" ¾-ton) or a Progressive Add-a-Pack (eliminates the factory block, maintains payload, pairs with a rear bump stop drop). Since 2008 the F-250 uses a lighter 2-main-leaf pack and the F-350 uses a stiffer 3-main-leaf pack. The Add-a-Pack is a nice improvement on the F-250 but stays very stiff on the F-350 unless loaded — Full Replacement Leaf Packs are recommended for both, especially the F-350.
  • Tremor / high-capacity tow F-250s are equipped with an F-350 rear spring and should also avoid the Add-a-Pack.
  • Capacity: If payload capacity is a concern with the Full Progressive Leaf Springs on an F-350, add an aftermarket airbag system — ideally one that lets the airbags disconnect from the lower mount during suspension cycling to preserve full rear travel. The Full Progressive Leaf Pack shifts the axle slightly forward in the wheel well for maximum tire clearance of a 37" M/T at full compression.
  • Wheel & tire: Do NOT run oversized tires on factory wheels — they're known to rub the radius arm, sway bar, and brake lines. Factory wheels with factory tires are fine. For a 37" E-rated tire, Carli recommends 17"-18" wheels, no more than 9" wide, with 5" of backspacing. More rubber improves small-bump compliance at proper inflation; ride firms up as wheel diameter increases.
